Abhishek Masurkar is an Indian fashion and advertising photographer based in Mumbai, known for crafting visually striking images that blend storytelling with strong graphic aesthetics.

With a background in Applied Art from Sir J. J. Institute of Applied Art, Abhishek began his journey assisting renowned photographer Suresh Natarajan, where he spent four formative years working on large-scale commercial productions for international brands, magazines, and celebrities. The experience shaped his understanding of light, form, and narrative within visual culture.

Today, Abhishek works independently across advertising, fashion, and editorial photography, creating images that balance commercial precision with artistic exploration. His work often explores the drama of light, human expression, and the relationship between subject and environment.

Alongside commissioned work, he continues to pursue personal projects that challenge conventional visual narratives and explore deeper social and cultural themes. His photographs have received international recognition, including awards from the International Photography Awards, Life Framer, and One Eyeland, where he was ranked among the World’s Top Fashion Photographers.

Abhishek is also the founder of Dot Studios, a creative studio space in Worli, Mumbai, conceived as a platform for artists, photographers, and creators to collaborate, experiment, and exhibit work.

Driven by curiosity and experimentation, Abhishek believes photography is not just about capturing a moment, but about creating an experience that allows viewers to feel the story within the frame.
